Modifying the operating system boot

Lowering os timeout value

If you have more den one operating system installed on your computer than you have to deal with the os selector.bydefault os selector gives you 30 seconds to select operating system


From the start menu click on run and type msconfig then press ok .this will load your system configuration.
Once the system configuration is opened,click the tab labeled boot.ini

Locate the time out text box and replace 30 seconds with 1 or 2 seconds

Once you made the changes click on ok and you are finished now
